What are the Emmy Awards

Emmy Awards are awards presented to sectors of the television industry. These sectors from entertainment shows, news and documentary shows and sports.

The main two awards presentations are the Primetime Emmys, which are presented to American television programming, and the Daytime Emmys, which are presented to daytime television shows.

The latest Emmy Awards production occurred on September 21, 2008. This was the 60th annual Emmy Awards.
