The 2009 list of Emmy Award Nominations has been revealed. One of the highlights is Family Guy who is nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series- the first time an animated show has been nominated since The Flinstones in 1961.
The 61st Emmy Awards will be hosted by Neil Patrick Harris on September 20th. The Emmys air the night before Neil Patrick Harris premieres the latest season of his television show, “How I Met Your Mother.”
